European Cake Off Competition to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Research

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As part of our 2019 RGS Language Week next week, 23rd-27th September 2019, we are running our annual European Cake Off competition for students. This will take place on Thursday 26th September, European Languages Day, in order to raise funds for Macmillan’s Big Coffee Morning.

To enter, students should bake a cake or biscuits in one of the following categories:

 EITHER decorate your bake to represent a European country of your choice

 OR use a recipe which comes from another (not UK) European country

PLEASE NOTE – as we are a NUT FREE SCHOOL there must be no nuts or nut-based products in the bakes.

Entries should be brought to the Library first thing on the morning of Thursday 26th September ready for judging. Bakes cannot be returned as they will all be sliced up and sold at break time to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Research.
