FRGS are excited to announce the 1555 Ball on Saturday 16th November will return to the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate for the community of RGS, to include parents, staff, governors, friends of school and Old Riponians.

Our aim this year is to continue raising funds towards the development of IT to support academia, but this year targeting English and Humanities.

The evening will commence with pre-dinner drinks at 7pm, seated for dinner at 7.45pm, with carriages by 1am. The 3-course meal, will provide a vegetarian option and dietary requirements can be catered for by the hotel in the set menu chosen. The meal will finish with freshly brewed tea/coffee and after dinner mints.

Entertainment will see the return of Reef Hound our live band and Billy the DJ during the evening. Alongside this, games of Heads & Tails, a raffle and auction will present lots of fund-raising opportunities for the school, with wonderful prizes to be won.

Tickets are priced at £75 a head, and the dress code is black tie or lounge suits. The ball presents an exciting opportunity for parents to enjoy socialising with other parents, staff and the wider community affiliated to RGS.

We have 250 tickets available and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Should you wish to organise a table of 10 or 12, please complete the attached relevant booking form which includes payment details for your table. If you have a smaller group or just wish to attend as a couple, please complete the same form and we will organise a table for you and will try and keep year group parents together if at all possible.
