Welcome back to the Class of 2022

We were delighted to welcome our amazing Class of 2022 back to Ripon Grammar School for a fun-filled reunion and to celebrate their impressive achievements, the first such event held at school since 2019

HEADMASTER Jonathan Webb said: "It is wonderful to see so many of you return to dear old RGS. We haven’t changed too much in that short time - same old suit, same old assembly hall - but you may have changed a lot no doubt already and I hope you enjoy meeting up with old friends to chat about what you have been up to. 

"We hope you have enjoyed your first term of university, course of further education, gap year or world of work - in short whatever you have elected and chosen to do since departing here in June. 

"I will repeat again that you are Old Riponians and please do stay in touch. You are part of an extended community who share a common origin and that’s important.Thank you for the advice and support you have already given or will give in future to current and former students of this school as you travel through life. 

"It would be remiss of me to not point out how well you did after two years of disrupted education - you did supremely well - and if we go by the score of grades collected at levels A* A or B then you did better than any year group who has gone before. Well done."
