STEM: Building for the future photo gallery

Year 8 pupils worked in teams against the clock to design and build a scale model of a new cricket pavilion to include two classrooms, changing rooms, showers, toilets and viewing platform. Their final presentations, in front of judges and a packed hall, included outlines of the environmental impact of the building and how renewable technology and materials would be used to heat and power it.
