LIBRARY: Literary pumpkin prize-winners revealed

RGS librarian MRS DRING reveals the winners of our literary pumpkin competition

THANK you for all the entries for our library’s literary pumpkin competition which displayed some wonderfully creative carving and decorating talent! The entries shown below will all receive prizes for their fabulous efforts, but our runner up is Roald Dahl’s Bloodbottler by Neve Dowding Dykes in 1D and the overall winner is Ella Tad, 1D, for her amazing depiction of Charlotte’s Web. Ella explained how she has carved both sides of the pumpkin so that ‘Some Pig’ can be seen through the web from the other side! This is difficult to show on a photograph.
