Friends of RGS: News update

WE are delighted that £11,000 from the 1555 Ball and £2,000 from the 200 Club has been donated towards the cost of the new interactive screens in the science block and school meeting room. Thank you to all those who contributed towards this fundraising effort.

Save the date for 2024's 1555 ball on Saturday, November 16 at the Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate. 

This year's fund raising will be to support IT again, extending the provision of new interactive screens into the maths block.

Come along and enjoy our Family Social Night on Saturday, February 24, ticket includes food with music quiz, DJ and disco. In addition to fundraising for school, a proportion of money raised will go towards student Alan Nowicka's rehabilitation fundraiser. 

We are also actively recruiting committee members and helpers to assist with planning future FRGS events support refreshments at school events. We are also looking for someone to take on the secretarial role within the committee who would be happy to take minutes at our meetings. If you are interested please email friends@ripongrammar.com

Our next committee meeting is on Wednesday,  February 21, 5.30pm, at the Ripon Inn to discuss the Family Social Night.
