CAREERS: A career in surgery

Head of careers Bob Walker reports: "Organised by West Yorkshire NHS, three lower sixth form aspiring surgeons, Bea Mercer-Pickles, Xiao-Ai Hill and Ella-Grace Foster, took part in this three-part seminar. The seminars included guest surgeons and covered many topics including: an Introduction to Surgery, Roles and Entry Routes and Next Step. This has been an invaluable additional to the students' understanding of a medical career within the NHS."
