SIXTH form biology students are very grateful to a local supermarket for helping them further their studies.
Thanks to Booths in Ripon, students have been able to dissect salmon fish heads to examine the structure of the gills as they learn more about respiration.
For the past seven years, the supermarket has been kindly supplying fish heads free of charge.
Student Amber Stevenson-Mian said: “Being able to dissect the fish heads ourselves and actually being able to see how the gills work is a brilliant way to expand our understanding.”
So, a big thank you to Booths!
