A-levels bring Josephine one step closer to her dream career

JOSEPHINE DODDS's A-level results bring her one step closer to her dream career.

The 18-year-old, from Sharow, is following her passion for English literature after gaining an A* in the subject, alongside an A in classical civilisations and a C in philosophy and ethics.

She will be studying English Literature and Comparative Literature at the University of Leeds and hope to work in publishing or journalism.

"I’m so pleased with my English grade, and I’m so excited to be able to carry on studying it at a higher level. The two years of sixth form have been amazing, I’ve had lots of fun and learnt lots too," she said.
