Our careers library houses a good stock of current university prospectuses and employer information as well as books and magazines on a wide selection of careers and Higher Education courses.
We also subscribe to a number of online resources where students can access impartial information to help them make informed and realistic career plans. Students are introduced to these packages during IT lessons and careers tutorials. Start Profile A new and comprehensive careers platform for all year groups, enabling research into specific careers, job families, employers and study options. This resource also comprises a profiling facility, so that research can be personalised in accordance with individual skills, aptitudes, interests and qualifications. The software also enables students and staff to record achievements, visits and activities in individual student lockers, creating a portfolio and ongoing record for CV building, applications and personal statements.
